Newport & Carisbrooke Community Council has started and completed several projects in the past few years.
These projects have varied from small scale to larger scale projects, for example, the restoration of the Barrington Simeon Memorial Fountain located on the Quay, the installation of fitness equipment in Seaclose Park and a lasting memorial to John Milne the seismologist.
Newport & Carisbrooke Community Council is passionate about projects and functions of interest to local people and this is achieved by preservation of our cultural heritage, providing outdoor facilities and promoting local events.
