Bio:

I am the new Community Councillor for Newport Central, where I live with my family.

I work as a teacher (History, Classics and Geology) in a school in Newport, and my boys also attend Newport schools.

I have a keen interest - both for my job and as a local resident - in history and local geography and in the green spaces in and around Newport as part of our Isle of Wight biosphere.

Prior to joining the Newport and Carisbrooke Community Council I was a Parish Councillor in the West Wight for a number of years. More recently I have been regularly working as a volunteer at the vaccination centre in the Riverside Centre.
