Four new pieces of exercise equipment are now available in Seaclose Park following a request to Cllr Mary Craven from older members of the community.
The equipment has instructions for use imprinted on each one, so even the most inexperienced person can make use of them. In addition the pieces have all been placed to face the children's area so busy parents and grandparents can exercise while keeping an eye on their children.
Newport & Carisbrooke Parish Council would like to thank both the IW Council for allowing the land to be used for the project and the Big Lottery Awards for All for supporting the project and providing a grant.
